History

In late 2010, Eyal Dunkel, who has been working the last few years with his dad at a car collision repair facility in Los Angeles, California, found that drivers have needs that are not being met when it comes to their cars.  People were unsure where to go when they had any issues with their cars, whether mechanical or because of an accident, and instinctively think of going to the auto dealers, where prices are usually much higher than reputable auto mechanics or auto body shops.  Eyal observed that people didn’t always remember what information to exchange when involved in a car accident.  That was the catalyst for starting Fancy Auto, Inc., a developer and publisher of car-related technology for people hectic and mobile lifestyle.

Car Butler™, your car’s concierge, is the first app Eyal conceived and developed as the solution for owners of iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iTouch), available now as a FREE download from iTunes App Store, as well as Android devices that will be released in October 2011, offering traffic and commute information, an easy way to find local gas stations, car wash, parking, easy access to reputable local repair shops and auto body shops, as well as simple-to-use auto accident report (in case of a car accident), among other invaluable services for drivers and their cars.  Car Butler™ will save people time, aggravation, and money.  Car Butler™ is truly a life saver for drivers and cars alike.

January 9, 2012 : Car Butler HD for the iPad is now available on iTunes App Store.

December 22, 2011 : Version 2.0 of the ‘Car Butler’ app for the iPhone is launched and is now available on iTunes App Store.

December 12, 2011 : Edmunds.com selects Car Butler™ as the “Automobile App of The Week”.  We are humbled by the selection.  Thank you!

July 29, 2011 : Car Butler™ mobile app for the iPhone is rated 4.5-stars by The MacMob : “Car Butler is an incredible FREE all-in-one app which has powerful and easy to use features.”

July 20, 2011 : Launched CarButlerApp.com showcasing Car Butler™.

July 4, 2011 : Apple has listed Car Butler™ in iTunes’s “New & Worthy” section!  Thank you Apple !! Check out Car Butler FREE.

July 2, 2011 : Car Butler™ is officially launched on the iTunes App Store for iOS devices.  Download Car Butler for FREE from the iTunes App Store now.  Now working on iPad and Android versions as well as new features to the newly launched app.  Stay tuned!

July 1, 2011 : Apple approved Car Butler™.  We’re grateful to all the participants that made this moment a reality.  The app should show up in iTunes any minute.  iPad and Android versions are forthcoming.  Stay tuned!

June 27, 2011 : Submitted my first iOS app to Apple.  Now the waiting game begins… I am now working on the iPad version, as well as the Android version.  I will keep you posted.

June 14, 2011 : Working on putting final touches on Car Butler™ iOS app.  Looking forward to launching Car Butler™ on iTunes, and finalizing the Android version for release in the weeks ahead.  Stay tuned.
